1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific products. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Services

Squapl Technologies operates three interconnected products:

• Rentablez is a cloud-based rental management software (SaaS) that provides businesses with tools for inventory management, booking and scheduling, payment processing, customer management, and business analytics. Access is provided via subscription plans.
• RentStorez is an online marketplace that connects customers with rental service providers across India. It includes business directory listings, search and discovery features, customer reviews, and a community lending platform for apartment residents.
• RenTechMag is a digital magazine covering the rental technology industry, featuring articles, market analysis, industry reports, interviews, and implementation guides. Some content may require free or paid registration.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Account Registration

Some features of our Services require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account information updated and accurate.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, violate these Terms, or remain inactive for an extended period (12 months or more).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use our Services for any illegal activity or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive business listings on RentStorez.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our Services, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our Services without our written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
• Use our Services to send unsolicited communications (spam).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in our Services — including software, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and compilations — is owned by Squapl Technologies or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• Trademarks: "Squapl Technologies", "Rentablez", "RentStorez", "RenTechMag", and associated logos and marks are trademarks of Squapl Technologies. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
• License to use: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Services in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Services.
• Feedback: If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our Services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into our products.

6. User Content

Our Services allow you to create, upload, or share content including business listings, reviews, comments, articles, and images ("User Content"). Regarding User Content:

• Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content on our Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting our Services.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Moderation: We may (but are not obligated to) review, edit, or remove User Content that violates these Terms, our content guidelines, or applicable law. We are not responsible for User Content posted by other users.
• RenTechMag contributions: If you contribute articles or content to RenTechMag, separate contributor terms may apply. Contributed articles may be edited for clarity, style, and accuracy.

7. Payment Terms

Certain Services require payment. The following terms apply to paid features:

Rentablez subscriptions

• Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.

RentStorez listings

• Basic business listings are free. Premium features, featured placements, and enhanced listings may require payment.
• Listing fees are non-refundable once the listing is published and live on the platform.

General payment terms

• Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. You agree to their terms of service.
• You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of our Services.
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of the transaction for refund consideration.
• We reserve the right to suspend Services for non-payment after a 7-day grace period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• Squapl Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is greater.
• For RentStorez: We are a marketplace facilitator and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed for rent, or the ability of providers to deliver services. Transactions between users are at their own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Squapl Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of or access to our Services.
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
• Your User Content or business listing information.
• Any dispute between you and another user of our Services.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement as follows:

• By you: You may stop using our Services and delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
• By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to our platform or other users.
• Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use our Services ceases immediately. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law. For Rentablez, we will provide a reasonable data export period (30 days) before permanent deletion.
• Survival: Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, will survive termination.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

• Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Arbitration: Before resorting to litigation, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days. If negotiation fails, either party may initiate arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in Pune, by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties.
• Consumer protection: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation in India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
• We will notify registered users via email at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
• We will display a notice on our websites and products.

Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using our Services and delete your account.
